Luckett & Farley provided design services for the new 52-bed healthcare center that replaces the existing hospital and its components. The new facility features geothermal heating and cooling, design by Luckett & Farley. The former facility needed to be upgraded to elevate the quality of life in Flemingsburg as well as support the growth of the local economy. Not only was the hospital finished in a timely fashion, Value Engineering saved the hospital $900,000. This was used to add a servery and MRI suite. MRI services were not available previously. The focus of this facility was outpatient care, all private patient rooms, and adding cancer care, orthopedics, and rehabilitation services. Additional design considerations address ADA and HIPPA regulations.
