ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The University of Louisville Athletic Association sought to update the former Brown & Williamson Club, originally designed by Luckett & Farley in 1997 as a part of the original Cardinal Stadium.

The University partnered with ANGEL'S ENVY® and enlisted sports brand experience consultant, Jack Porter, to conceptualize the space. Luckett & Farley brought the rich bourbon vision to life with constructible solutions and durable finishes to withstand commercial use.

The 18,000 square-foot space spans the length of the field. The club is used for fans on game days and throughout the year for various events such as weddings, conferences, banquets, and more. The flexible venue can accommodate up to 1,500 people. The updated design added access to the mezzanine level and two speakeasies from repurposed side rooms. The bar areas flanking the room emphasize the double-height space and act as branded focal points for ANGEL'S ENVY®. Our interior teams selected fixtures and finishes that would accommodate the need for flexibility and high traffic without compromising on design.
