ABOUT THIS PROJECT

As Rabbit Hole’s presence evolved beyond its original urban campus, the brand looked to create a destination that embraced Kentucky’s rural character while offering a space for meaningful, immersive experiences. Luckett & Farley envisioned a new tasting room and event venue that would reflect this next chapter—an environment designed to bring people together through landscape, craft, and hospitality.

Planned for Rabbit Hole’s property in Henry County, the concept centers on flexibility and connection to place. Designed to accommodate 150 to 200 guests, the venue supports a wide range of uses—from private tastings and mixology classes to weddings and corporate retreats. Key elements include a large assembly area, tasting bar, private meeting room, catering kitchen, and a waterside patio—all organized to frame expansive views of the surrounding countryside.

The design blends contemporary form with natural materials, incorporating elements like shou-sugi-ban siding, corten steel, and exposed wood trusses to create a warm, modern aesthetic. Sustainability was a guiding principle throughout the concept, with strategies such as low-flow plumbing fixtures, daylighting, native plantings, and solar integration woven into the design. Site orientation and material selection prioritize longevity, resilience, and a reduced environmental footprint.

More than a venue, the vision is a refined reflection of Rabbit Hole’s identity—merging thoughtful design with a deep sense of place.
