ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Luckett & Farley provided the master plan and design for all phases of a four-phase project for the Kentucky National Guard’s Support Operations Group. We utilized Revit (BIM) software to develop a 3-D building model of the facility to describe and facilitate the architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical coordination of the design.

Each phase required meeting a tight design schedule to meet bid deadlines. The first phase included a 10,500 SF building that houses office functions as well as mobile operation team support facilities. The second phase of the project included 10,000 SF maintenance facilities. The third phase included a 23,613 SF PEMB hangar for helicopter storage and maintenance, plus additional offices and support. The fourth phase included a 11,273 SF addition to the helicopter hangar facility.

This facility is LEED Silver certified.
