Impactful Design Since 1853

Luckett & Farley embodies a legacy of resilience, innovation, and technical expertise that few firms can match. With roots dating back to 1853 in Louisville, Kentucky, our firm has weathered economic downturns, technological revolutions and societal shifts, emerging stronger and more adaptable with each challenge. Our longevity speaks volumes about our commitment to excellence, our ability to evolve and our dedication to serving clients with integrity and ingenuity.

Legacy & Reputation

Throughout the years our firm has garnered recognition for our ability to craft designs that shape physical spaces and contribute to the cultural landscape, earning the trust and respect of our employees, community, and clients.

Our legacy represents the contributions, values and skills passed down through generations. Our commitment to enhancing the well-being of our employees and our community is at the heart of everything we do. Our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) ensures every member of our team has a vested interest in our collective success and shares in the rewards of our efforts. And, through an intentional transmission of skills from one generation of designers to the next, we foster a tradition of craftsmanship and expertise that sets our work apart. We celebrate the enduring impact our business has had on the industry and our community as we continue to shape the design legacy of tomorrow.

Over the decades companies that significantly influence our city, region and country have chosen us to help bring their visions to life. We have fostered enduring relationships with our clients by demonstrating our deep understanding of their business and a desire to exceed their expectations.

Expertise & Experience

The specialized knowledge, skills and capabilities of our firm are the culmination of generations of dedication and innovation.

Our predecessors laid a strong foundation by integrating multiple disciplines within one firm. In the 1980s, we were early adopters of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), an innovative approach we still rely on as we explore the frontiers of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Early in the 2000s, we anticipated the significance of LEED accreditation, and to this day we champion this symbol of achievement in sustainable design. Our diverse expertise enables us to navigate complex projects, solve intricate design challenges and deliver innovative solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

With almost two centuries of experience, our firm possesses a rich history of success across diverse sectors, regions, and scales. From distilling industry projects representing pre and post prohibition to repeat work on a site 100 years after the first project was complete, our body of work is as wide-ranging as the multidisciplinary talent we employ.

Community and Cultural Values

Going beyond milestones and innovations, our journey is deeply intertwined with the communities we serve and the diverse cultures we embrace.

Our commitment to fostering strong, vibrant communities is woven through every project we design and execute. Our success is reflected in the quality-of-life improvements of the neighborhoods, towns and cities where we operate. The projects we pursue not only enhance our business objectives but also, most importantly, enrich the social and cultural fabric of these areas.

Our organization’s cultural values guide our actions, shape our policies and influence how we engage with one another and the world.

We pledge to continue to be a force for good, championing causes that matter most to our communities and staying true to the cultural values that define us. We will achieve business excellence only by engaging with our clients in ways that honor our shared cultural and community values.
