Ownership Institute

We have committed to an on-going, year-long development program called the Luckett & Farley Ownership Institute. As Employee-Owners, participants of the Ownership Institute learn skills like how to communicate with clarity, how to engage a co-worker in a crucial conversation and how to deal with conflict. Ownership Institute creates a subculture of firm-wide leadership that runs continuously in the background of our organization. Paid Time Off

Full-time employees are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO). New employees earn 15 days of PTO the first year of employment on a monthly accrual basis and 30 days after 10 years of service. Once you have enjoyed 15 years of service you will receive a retention bonus equal to one week’s pay every additional 5th year. Luckett & Farley also offers 7.5 days of paid holidays per year.

Insurance Benefits

Choose a plan that best suits the needs of you and your family. There are several to choose from and we are regularly reviewing plan options to find the best plans for you. Dental insurance is available, as well as Flexible Spending and Health Saving account options to help you save money. You will receive our company-paid life insurance with a total coverage equal to 1.5 times your annual salary. This benefit becomes effective just 30 days after you are hired. Short-term and long-term disability insurance is also offered to employees at no charge.

Giving Back to Our Community

Luckett & Farley values the community we live in and enjoys contributing to the lives of those that it affects. Our firm's experience and dedication in supporting programs in our local area goes beyond design and function. The reward from architectural and engineering design services is realized when the lives of people are changed. Our firm and its Employee-Owners put forth extra effort to be a part of creating a better environment for those whom we share our community. In addition to community projects such as Metro Bus Stops and Youth Build Louisville, our Ownership Institute Program also incorporates a Service Project each year. In the past few years, the class has renovated a couple rooms at the Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana and built a Little Free Library. These projects have allowed us to share our knowledge, talent, and abilities and helped grow as a community. With our 162-year-old roots in Louisville, nothing is more fulfilling and rewarding than working with our local community.
