Interior Design & Procurement

Luckett & Farley’s interior design department has licensed professionals who include LEED AP, NCIDQ, EDAC and CID. Our talented interior designers also provide space planning, move-management and furniture coordination for a variety of facility types, including government, corporate, education, broadcast and healthcare. They understand the unique demands for each and keep in mind the use of durable, sustainable materials while keeping function top of mind.

For example, our designers understand the trend in healthcare to design interior spaces which more closely resemble a luxury hotel. Patients have many choices and pass judgment on the perceived level of quality and care they will receive based on the aesthetics. Warm woods, textured brick walls, fire places, soothing water features, soft pendant decorative lighting, sophisticated furnishings, luxurious fabrics and nature inspired artwork all create an environment patients seek when choosing where to receive care. Some studies in evidence-based design even suggest these and other design strategies aid in the healing process and reduce stress.

Today’s educational facilities are designing  ”Learning Labs” or learning environments that encourage collaboration and interaction. Our designers are helping create classrooms that take into account different teaching styles for instructors and different learning styles for students.

Luckett & Farley’s interior designers and space planners can also create solutions to maximize available space to improve efficiency and increase work performance. We’ve been doing it for AT&T and welcome the opportunity to do it for you.
