Employer of Choice

We range from recent college graduates to professionals with over 25 years of experience! See what the professionals have to say about Luckett & Farley having the Best Culture, Environment and Rewards Structure!

My favorite company gathering:

  • Was a cookout we had when I was the live entertainment! Myself and a couple other guys played live music…it was a great time!
  • Our company sponsored a trip to Paoli Peaks for a day of skiing!
  • A holiday party at Churchill Downs to celebrate the overhaul we did! It was elegant and great fun!
  • When we chartered a bus and went to Cincinnati for a football game!
  • Has always been our Halloween – Chili Cook-off’s!
  • A cook-out that the civil engineers hosted…we played “Minute To Win It” games! It was entertaining, loads of fun and everyone participated!

My favorite project that I have been involved in:

  • All the projects we do are challenging, so it’s hard to pick just one, but the projects involving hospitals are always interesting!
  • Without a doubt, either one or both of the Kentucky Veteran’s cemeteries. It was an honor to be able to serve the veterans by giving them a fitting place to rest in peace.
  • It has to be the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. This was our first major project that we designed using Revit. It was tough and exciting, but we made it happen!
  • The housing at IUS. I’ve been able to make lasting friends from the project and felt like I was able to contribute to the growth of the campus and improved the experience of students at IUS.
  • Taco Bell headquarters in Irvine, CA; it was full of unlimited creativity.
  • Simple. Most Fun = Calypso Cover Water Park. Proudest = KY Veteran Cemetery.
  • The Churchill Downs remodel: our company has such a rich history with CHD, our predecessors designed the original Twin Spires and we received worldwide recognition for this project.

Why I enjoy working at Luckett & Farley:

  • Everybody works together and creates together. That’s the type of firm we are! We are learning something new every day.
  • Everyone has a common goal in regards to making this the best place to work. It feels like family when I walk through the doors in the morning.
  • Good benefits package, good history with loyal clients and a leader in staying current within the industry.
  • High energy level and sense of belonging.
  • Luckett & Farley cares about their clients and their employees!
  • I have never worked for a place that seemed to truly welcome me as I have experienced during my first week of employment here.
  • The people are what make the company great. Everyone is very friendly, honest and sincere from the top to the bottom.
  • The company offers challenging work and great opportunities for personal growth.
  • The company makes an effort to be “Employer of Choice,” doing whatever it takes to make that happen.
  • The leadership cares about the employees as real people and is open to continually improving operations, the culture and providing opportunities for advancement within the organization.
  • They provide an environment that makes you feel like an important part of a Luckett & Farley family and not just another employee.
  • This company sets goals for our future and lets us know that we are included in these goals.
