Luckett & Farley Architects, Engineers and Interior Designers (Luckett & Farley) is pleased to announce the purchase of 741, 745 and 749 South Third Street, in the South of Broadway (SoBro) neighborhood. With the acquisition, Luckett & Farley plans to continue its commitment to the SoBro District. The planned project, which includes the existing headquarters at 737 South Third Street, will allow Luckett & Farley to support Mayor Fisher’s revitalization of the neighborhood by both investing in its future, and playing the role of anchor business at the gateway of SoBro, just north of York Street. 737 South Third Street, which is currently owned by Luckett & Farley, was formerly known as the Prince Wells’ automobile dealership, established in the early 1900s. 741, 745 and 749 South Third Street were first created to house the Prince Wells’ mechanic shop and additional auto retail. Luckett & Farley, through their real estate development arm, are in the process of realizing plans for the space which are centered around creating economic development and increasing walkability to the SoBro area. Luckett & Farley strongly supports Louisville’s SoBro initiative. More information on Luckett and Farley’s plan to redevelop its newly-acquired real estate, at the gateway of SoBro, will materialize in the upcoming months.
